Dr. Farah Hirani is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo and completed McMaster University's Medical Acupuncture Program.
In 2001, she founded Body + Spine Chiropractic Wellness Clinic and is the Clinic Director. She offers patients ethical quality care and believes everything you need to heal is already within you and nurtures this belief with every patient. As a wellness consultant to her patients, she shares that inner happiness comes from working on physical, emotional and spiritual health daily.
Being a mother, her focus on family health has special meaning. She has treated pregnant and post-natal women, their newborns and children. And she has taught spinal stretching, visualization, yoga and sleep training to many new mothers.
Dr. Hirani has appeared in Maclean's magazine, OCA News, Back Matters and on Global News. She was also featured in a blogpost by writer Kelly Wilk on chiropractic care for children titled “The Gift of Self-Care”.
Both Dr. Hirani and Dr. Ali served as the designated chiropractors for the Broadway musical Sousatzka (2017) in Toronto and to the Mirvish production of Cats (2016). They have also provided chiropractic services to the cast of War Horse and to the Soulpepper Theatre Company.
A firm believer in altruism, Dr. Hirani is committed to giving back to the profession and the community. Over the years, countless chiropractic, naturopathic and kinesiology students have volunteered and worked at her clinic to develop confidence and find their niche in their own professional journey.
Dr. Hirani is an active volunteer in the Ismaili community. She and Dr. Ali have taught seniors arthritic exercises to the beat of Bollywood music. And she led the WalkFit fitness program at the Aga Khan Park which included spinal stretches and a postural check. She has also served on the Aga Khan Health Board, the Diamond Jubilee Time and Knowledge Committee and on the World Partnership Walk Committee. She continues to volunteer regularly at weekly community events.
