    Bio: Dr. Farah Hirani is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo and completed McMaster University's Medical Acupuncture Program.

    In 2001, she founded Body + Spine Chiropractic Wellness Clinic and is the Clinic Director. She offers patients ethical quality care with the tough love message that one is responsible for one’s own spinal and general health. She believes everything you need to heal is within and nurtures this with every patient.

    Being a mother, her focus on family health has special meaning. She has treated pregnant and post-natal women, their newborns and children. And she has taught spinal stretching, visualization and yoga to many new mothers.

    Bio: Upon graduation Dr. Ali worked in the rehabilitation industry but felt that his passions lay within wellness care. He joined Body and Spine Chiropractic Wellness Clinic as an Associate and has provided excellent wellness care to patients for over eight years.  

    Dr. Ali is a caring and compassionate individual who believes strongly in the body and mind connection.  He is an active member in his community and has served as Chairperson for the Alliance for South Asian AIDS prevention (ASAAP).  He has also volunteered for the Evergreen Health Centre providing chiropractic services and education in a multidisciplinary setting to street youth.

    Bio: Alfred Fong, RMT, has been a massage therapist since 2002. During this time, he has worked alongside chiropractors, acupuncturists and fellow registered massage therapists and clients themselves to ensure the best possible treatment.
    His philosophy is to combine therapeutic and relaxation massage with a focus on client care. To achieve the best possible results, he uses a combination of Swedish techniques, deep tissue massage, basic acupressure and basic reflexology points. 
    Some of those who have benefited from his treatments include one of Canada’s top fashion designers, renowned hair and make-up artists, actors, Canadian singers and local city councilors.
    He graduated in 2000 from ICT Kikkawa College of Massage’s fast track program.

    Bio: With over 5 years intense training and hands on work experience both in China and Canada, Dalu Wang delivers his therapeutic massage therapy through many different forms of body work, such as Deep Tissue, Tui Na (Chinese medical massage), Shiatsu, Thai Massage, Reflexology etc. He believes self-care should be the first and most important part of our daily activities, ourselves are the ones who are responsible for our own health. As a health care professional, his role is to facilitate the healing power of our body and educate patients to maintain the good balance of life. He practices Tai Chi, Buddhism Meditation, Herbal medicine as self-care and preventive medicine. He never stops learning, now he is taking the Traditional Chinese Medicine program in Shiatsu School of Canada.

    Bio: Emma Brejak, RMT, has been a massage therapist since 2007, and joined body + spine in 2008. During this time, she has gained diverse clinical experience, and developed expertise in Swedish and treatment-based massage.

    Her specialty is providing therapeutic relief for women during pre and post pregnancy, and during labour. She has undertaken specialized training at Women’s College Hospital working with high risk pregnancies and women going through labour. Certified in pregnancy massage, Emma can help a woman remain loose and relaxed in preparation for birth.

    Her interest in yoga provides a deeper understanding of muscular anatomy and the ways in which stretching and strengthening can both heal the body and prevent injury. Aromatherapy and hot stones are incorporated into her treatments to enhance focus and relaxation.

    Emma is an active member of College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and the Ontario Massage Therapy Association. She graduated in 2007 from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy.
